We have seen the same tailgate benches everywhere; a tailgate used as the backrest framed in wood or steel. If I was going to make one, I was going to make it using only auto parts. Look at the pictures closely and you will see I stuck to that as much as I could. There are leaf springs, camshafts, steel wheels, and tailgate latches. Like some of my other items, these are made to order, and due to the size and weight, may be local pickup only. These would have to ship freight, and I have never done that before.
